Introduce an Ubuntu "compatibility assistant" type Windows application as an alternative to WUBI

Since we all know WUBI is virtually impossible to use on UEFI computers, of course we have to get rid of it. However, that doesn't mean we can't treat users in a user-friendly manner.

Notice how whenever Microsoft releases a new version of Windows, they always provide an application that tells the user whether or not his/her hardware is compatible with (and has the necessary drivers to run) that particular new Windows version? We should be just as user-friendly. Before installing (or even starting the Live DVD), the user needs to know what hardware is compatible and what hardware isn't, right?

So, I'm proposing a plan: Introduce a "compatibility assistant" for Windows that runs on the Live CD. Autodetect ALL hardware and match it with the Ubuntu hardware database (component catalog, that is) to see if there is a match. And if the compatibility assistant-type application says everything is A-OK, provide in-app instructions for disabling Secure Boot, enabling boot from DVD-RW/USB drives, and installing, along with the option to print the in-app instructions out. Hopefully this ought to get the user's attention...
