2010-10-22: Are you still driving this Luke? It's been sitting here for quite some time without any updates. As far as I know, the only remaining issue is fixing Ubiquity to not become confused by the plethora of dmraid devices in the partitioning stage, and to default to installing grub there instead of sda.
TheMuso: No longer working on this, haven't been since I moved from foundations to desktop.
