Live CD or Insall CD have option "Start PXE server" for installing Ubuntu to other computers.
It would be nice if either the install CD, or the live CD had an option to start or boot into a PXE server. The server have at least one configuration page where you could specify an alternate Ubuntu ISO or path to and ISO image if desired (so as to be able to PXE boot a PPC or AMD64 install from a non PPC/AMD64 machine).
Having such a system would allow older machines, machines with non-working CD drives, or non-bootable CD drives to get Ubuntu more easily. It would also make it easier to install to many machines at once with the help of a network switch.
Possibly, the PXE system would also have an apt-cache type setup so that in the case of installing to multiple computers, they would query the PXE server for updates.
