Graphical GRUB Configuration
Many users have troubles configuring the boot loader. Configuring it requires hand editing. While this method works, it's generally a pain for users.
A graphical editor for GRUB configuration would greatly make this task easier for the users.

Whiteboard
There are at least three partly-finished tools for grub configuration, including one that was developed for Ubuntu during a Google Summer of Code. But they seldom benefit anyone using Ubuntu, because none of them are installed by default. Since many people using Ubuntu install it alongside another operating system, it would help many people to have a graphical way of repairing their startup menu, choosing the default OS for startup, and removing no-longer-needed kernels.

[Yann] There are now 2 main GUI to manage GRUB: GRUB-Customizer and Boot-Repair. While the 1st is for customizing GRUB (so may break it), the 2nd one is small, simple and efficient to fix GRUB so it could be a great feature if installed by default in Ubuntu.
