Integration of the Dash Privacy Interface in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Since Ubuntu 12.10, many users complain about the lack of communication about the integration of remote research in Unity. Recently, Canonical has even received a "Big Brother Awards" for this and remote scopes are seen by a part of the community, at best as adwares and at worst as spywares because they are enabled by default and no information specifies the user that data considered as privates will be sent to Canonical. To avoid problems of legacy, the French LoCo has consulted an organisation in charge of protection of privacy, and has created the "Dash Privacy Interface," a disclaimer with an activation or deactivation choice for online research that starts at the first connection of a user.
Now we hope that this tool will be installed in Ubuntu
