Review the touchscreen situation with regard to calibration tools and driver situation

In Jaunty we started to review the current situation of touchscreen handling in ubuntu, take a look at the work done upstream to unify all touchscreen Xorg drivers into evdev. Find the best calibration tool and setup UI to use for touchscreens and make sure it works with the hal-input model. Sadly this was not implemented and the situation upstream and in relation to the many different Xorg drivers has changed (the originally attempted solution upstream sadly only works with devices supported by the usbtouchscreen kernel driver which is only a small subset).
For karmic we want to do better and find an integrated way for all current touchscreen drivers.
