Garage maas has very often been touted as a generally available system.
However, we do not have a good way to provision and reprovision the system to allow people to play, and easily return the system to a working order.
In order to get there, my plan is:
* install maas.mallards with 12.04 + cloud archive + (maybe) HWE kernel
* create Juju charms for maas-region controller and maas cluster controller
* use juju local provider to deploy these charms onto a bridged interface
* make a simple button for "deploy it" that does everything
* remove general access to root
Other things i'd like:
* run a proxy on maas.mallards (the host) that would be used by the containers and even by the nodes maas installs. A nice big fat proxy.
