Easy gui-based backup application for the non-geek

Ubuntu doesn't ship with a comprehensive yet simple backup application, the average user and even the sub-average user shall be able to backup all sensitive and personal data with just few click from a menu launcher/icon, possibly with a wizard-like procedure.
The application shall contains just a "backup my home folder" and a "backup my Ubuntu installation" (including /etc /home /usr /bin /..) including all important folders. Obviously it shall include all the relative restore functions.
In a perfect world a "restore" function shall be available from the boot CD menu in order to easy recover from a disaster directly without the process of bootlive --> install --> update system --> restore data.
