Ubuntu long life marketing magazine for Ubuntu and possibly Kubuntu
I have been playing with this idea for many years and now with LTS versions of Ubuntu this may now be a possible reality. At first I was thinking of trying something like this on my own to make a bit of extra money as I am on a disability. Also I used to be a member of the old marketing team but strayed away because of some negative influences. Now anyways this is how this distribution medium works. There are a few possibilities with this with the simplest being a light cardboard how to containing the Ubuntu install CD for magazine distribution or even a beefed up version with a long life magazine. The magazine could contain a pretty in depth how to and how to find support etc. On thing that must be covered is how to set up for the Internet. Now the nice thing about LTS is that the shelf life of the magazine distribution is very long and would still be usable for years even possibly sitting in a store shelf for a very long time.
Now this is the special part to it in that the distribution costs are taken care of buy the customer with a portion of the small distribution price going to the distributors and stores where the magazine would be displayed. This is also very flexible and can accommodate regional pricing themes.
Anyways the main purpose is to develop an affordable almost self sustained distribution medium.
