Make a consistent progress bar for writing to USB data

When a user unplug an removable storage media from the system, it says : "writing data to storage device (name of the device)", with a bar pumping.
I was moving lots of files, and I thought that some error has occurred. But after some time, the operation completed.
I suggest a REAL progress bar, not a pumping one, that shows the percentage done and shows what file is being written.

Sprints
Whiteboard
there could be a status icon on panel (like Bluetooth Applet)
which would show usb disc states:
- mounted
- has files to write
- has opened files
- writing/reading
