Manage Multiple Network Interfaces Simultaneously
For systems with multiple network interfaces, wicd should have the capability to manage each separately and simultaneously. This should allow for combinations of wired and wireless interfaces to all be connected to different networks (or the same networks if needed). This will be important if the system is to used as a firewall or router.

Whiteboard
Good idea. In particular, I think the specification of the interface to be used should move from the global preferences to the details of each network. Furthermore, I would like to see the profiles of the wired network to be replaced by a list of wired networks (just like the list of wireless networks, i.e. no more profile dropdown).
This is also useful if you are using your laptop in different environments (eg work with DHCP, home with fixed IP, hotel with DHCP and very locked up firewall, etc.) On my old laptop, I did this with multiple network cards, on the new one I'm doing it with profiles in WICD.
