wxBanker could have the option to specify a Jabber account to connect to. This will allow the owner to update transactions on the go via sending messages on a smartphone, or just another computer such as at work. If wxBanker is not currently running, the messages will be received the next time it runs and it can act on them at that time.
Using a Google account would mean unapproved users cannot send messages, so authentication wouldn't be necessary.
When wxBanker receives/notices messages, it should display how many actions will be performed, allowing the user to remove any spurious ones, and then approve them.
