Python interface driver for Buzz controller

The most critical part of the project at this stage is getting the original Buzz! controller working with Zubb. This is beyond my skill level and thus I ask if anyone would be interested in coding such a driver? I believe the article provides the required information for a knowledgeable of a wrapper library like pyusb to write the driver. If you would like to do so please let me know.
